In a similar vein to my post yesterday about Kay Harwood's work, Anwen Keeling paints young women, imbuing her work with atmosphere with a sense of suspense. With saturated colour and lighting from a flash, through a window or from an overhead lightbulb, her paintings feel like film stills. Keeling works from photographs of friends in positions of repose, and from photos of dogs... bless...
